Tips to making a homemade manicure last longer:
#1 Clean the surface (Even if there isn't existing nail polish remover on the nail)
#2 Choose a good base coat! (this will make the nail polish not dye your nails the color of the polish) (there is a difference between a top coat and a base coat!!)
#3 Do a couple of layers of polish! (it will also make it look better:)
#4 Choose a good top coat! (Don't pick a top coat that says "quick dry" because it won't get the full protection that the nail needs!
#4 To make the manicure last even LONGER redo your top coat every three days!!
